Set up Automatic Nightly Lead Exports

Overview

If your organization uses a CRM that is not supported out of the box by ZiftONE, you can set up an automated Nightly Lead Export to pull data from your partner portal and import it into your CRM.

The Nightly Lead Export automatically sends identified recipients an email each night to notify them that a CSV file with the daily lead list is available in their My Downloads area of the partner portal. The file lists leads that exceed the specified lead-score threshold and that had some sort of marketing activity on the previous day. 

The CSV file includes this information for each lead:

• Standard lead contact information, such as email address, first name, last name, company, and phone number.
• Any custom lead fields, such as the product of interest.

• A list of the marketing events for that lead in JSON format. This includes the type, date/time, and description of the event.

  Here is an example of the JSON formatted string for marketing events:

The list can be easily imported into your CRM using its standard lead or data import capabilities.

Set up a Nightly Email Export

1. Navigate to > Settings.
2. Select CRM Settings in the left-hand sidebar.
3. Choose Add new CRM Integration.
4. Select Nightly Lead Export Email from the drop-down list.
5. In General Settings, provide this information:
   • Users to Send File - The email address or addresses that will receive the email notification when the report is ready. Start typing an email address and it will be autocompleted for selection.
   • Minimum Lead Score Threshold - The lead score that leads must exceed to be included in the list. 
6. In Usage Profile, complete these settings:
   • Marketing Automation - select the option to expose the Advanced Marketing Automation Options
   • Lead Distribution - select the option to expose the Advanced Lead Distribution Options

   Note: For the Lead Distribution profile, Distributed Leads must be accepted (or the partner must have Auto-Accept enabled) to be added to the Nightly Lead Export report.

7. Click Save.

8. In the CRM Settings page, confirm the integration is set to On.
