About Social Media

Overview

Using social media through ZiftONE lets you build, mix, and promote business engagement, conversation, and supplier- and partner-generated social content. Social content comes in many forms (audio, text, video, images, etc.). This content informs and entertains the people who consume it.

The best part? Your suppliers provide you with social content for your social accounts, allowing you to push social content to your connections and followers with just a few clicks!

Suppliers create social content for you that is co-branded with your social accounts; this allows you to push social content to your connections and followers. We refer to any content that is coming from your supplier to you as syndicated content. This syndicated content is continuously updated by the supplier and pushed out to you. You will be notified via email when new posts requiring your approval are available. Suppliers may limit your ability to make changes or updates to the syndicated content in an effort to maintain their brand identity.

For example, if you are in the tech industry, your supplier might upload library posts around a certain solution or product offerings, such as cloud management or security. If you are trying to showcase one of those product offerings on your social media sites, then you could supplement your social posts with additional content from the library.

You can also create your own social posts in your partner portal.

In ZiftONE, a simple online dashboard coupled with a fully automated delivery infrastructure lets you set your content preferences and manage both your company’s and your personal social presence across today’s most popular platforms. ZiftONE currently supports the following platforms:

  • X
  • Facebook
  • LinkedIn

Linking your social media accounts to ZiftONE gives you access to three types of content: Upcoming Posts, Library Posts, and Social Feed.

Social Media Accounts

In ZiftONE, partners can easily spread branded messaging by connecting and social media accounts for personal or shared access and managing social streams.

The type of account a user can connect depends on their role in the partner account. For more information, see Connecting Social Media Accounts.

Social Feed

A Social Feed is the way suppliers deliver scheduled social content to their partners. Posts in the feed are categorized by tags and you can choose to subscribe to any of the tags, depending on the product or topic you’re interested in. Set your own approval level of scheduled posts for both your Company (shared access) and Personal (private access) social media accounts:

  • Auto-publish — These posts will automatically publish to your social media accounts on the dates and times established by your supplier.
  • Requires approval — You will receive an email whenever new content is available, which will prompt you to sign in and approve the content before it's sent out to your social pages.

For guidance on managing your Social Feed, see Social Media Settings.
