Our AI Expert

Overview

The ZiftONE Portal AI Expert can give you guidance with your marketing tasks and help you access the content you need to achieve success.

You can ask the Portal AI Expert questions about the tasks you’re carrying out, or a subject you need information about, and get helpful answers back. The Expert also provides links to any relevant content, such as collateral assets or marketing tactics provided by your supplier.

To confirm if the Portal AI Expert is enabled on your partner portal, reach out to your supplier point of contact.

Note

ZiftONE syncs enablement requests and processes data for the AI Expert overnight - you may find that it is not ready for use until the day after your supplier enables it for you.

If the Portal AI Expert is enabled in your portal, you can click the icon_ai_expert_portal.png icon in the portal navigation to get going. This launches a conversation window in the left sidebar. Here, you can start talking to the Portal AI Expert. When you access its services again at a later date, you can pick up previous threads, or archive them if they’re no longer applicable.

When you’re in a conversation with the Portal AI Expert, that conversation is highlighted in the list.

Note

An AI Expert can make mistakes. By using it, you acknowledge and accept that there is a possibility of receiving inaccurate or misleading information.

Chat with the AI Expert

To start or continue a thread with the Portal AI Expert:

  1. Click the icon_ai_expert_portal.png icon on the top toolbar of your partner portal.

    The icon is available if your supplier has enabled the Portal AI Expert for you.

  2. If you’ve used the expert before, you can restart a previous thread:

    • Click on a thread in the list to restart it. The active thread is highlighted in the list.
    • Search for a thread by entering keywords in the Search your threads field, and clicking icon_search_grey.png. You can then click on the thread to resume the conversation.
  3. To start a new thread, click Start a New Thread and launch a conversation by typing your request into the How may I help you? field, then clicking the up arrow or hitting ENTER. 

    Some tips for asking an AI Expert a question:

    • Be as specific as possible
    • Be concise and avoid slang
    • Include context and relevant information

    The Portal AI Expert gives its initial response, extracting information from content available from your supplier in the portal. It includes a citation of the source of the information and a link to the applicable content. You can click these links to go to the relevant page, document, asset, or training resource.

  4. Send additional questions or directions to tailor the response from the Portal AI Expert, or deliver it in a different way.

  5. If required, click one of these buttons for a response:

    • Like icon_thumb_up.png - give positive feedback about the response
    • Dislike icon_thumb_down.png - give negative feedback about the response
    • Regenerate icon_regenerate_ai.png - send the same request again, for example if you know that additional content has been made available for searching

    • Copy icon_copy_ai.png - copy the response to paste elsewhere

You can chat to the Portal AI Expert in any language (English is the default), either having a whole conversation in your own language, or asking the Expert to translate any responses it gives.

Translate a response:

Delete a Conversation with the AI Expert

The AI Expert can maintain up to 10 concurrent conversations. Starting a new one when at the limit of 10 will remove the conversation that has the oldest most recent activity from the list.

To permanently delete an existing thread with the Portal AI Expert:

  1. Click the icon_ai_expert_portal.png icon on the top toolbar of your partner portal.
  2. Find the thread you want to delete in the left sidebar - use the Search your threads option if required.
  3. Click the Delete icon icon_delete_2.png next to the thread.
  4. You’re asked to confirm that you want to continue with deleting the thread. Click Delete to continue.
