Ask IQ is an AI-powered assistant that your supplier can enable in your portal to help you work smarter and faster. It can give you lots of support with your marketing tasks and help you access the content you need to achieve success.
You can ask Ask IQ questions about the tasks you’re carrying out, or a subject you need information about, and get helpful answers back. It surfaces relevant supporting content from your content library, such as collateral assets or marketing tactics provider by your supplier. It responds in your own language to give you quick and easily accessible guidance.
Ask IQ can also draft social posts or marketing emails on your behalf, based on the content of its responses to your prompts. You have the opportunity to send them as is, or edit, personalise, and schedule them as usual.
Note
Enablement requests and processes data for the AI Expert are synced overnight - you may find that it is not ready for use until the day after your supplier enables it for you.
If Ask IQ is enabled in your portal, you can click the icon in the portal navigation to get going. This launches a chat window. Here, you can start a conversion with Ask IQ. When you access its services again at a later date, you can pick up previous threads, or archive them if they’re no longer applicable.

Chat with Ask IQ
To start or continue a thread with Ask IQ:

Click the
icon on the top toolbar of your partner portal.
The icon is available if your supplier has enabled Ask IQ for you.
- If you’ve used Ask IQ before, you can restart a previous thread:
- Click
to access your list of up to 10 previous conversations.
- Click on a thread in the list to restart it.
- Search for a thread by entering keywords in the Previous conversations field, and clicking
. You can then click on the thread to resume the conversation.

To start a new thread, add your prompt in the Ask IQ anything field at the bottom of the window, then click the up arrow or hit ENTER. If you want to send a multi-line prompt, use Shift + Enter or a soft line break to separate the lines of text.
Some tips for asking an AI assistant a question:
- Treat a request like a conversation.
- Be as specific as possible
- Be concise and avoid slang
- State the desired format/tone.
- Use roles such as "act as a product reseller..." to get targeted answers
- Include context and any required information
- Remember that AI can "hallucinate", so always verify critical information
Your supplier may have provided some suggested prompts for you. Type / into the Ask IQ anything field to show them.
Use the ↑↓ keys to scroll up and down the list and hit ENTER to select. Hit ESC to exit the list.
You can click a prompt to use it, and have the option to tweak it before initiating the conversation.
Ask IQ gives its initial response, extracting information from content available from your supplier in the portal. It includes a citation of the source of the information and a link to the applicable content. You can click these links to go to the relevant page, document, asset, or training resource. You'll have the option to download assets, if that's permitted by your supplier.
- Send additional questions or directions to tailor the response from Ask IQ, or deliver it in a different way. for example, "can you remove the bullets?" or "translate the response into French".

If required, click one of these buttons for a response:
- Copy
- copy the response to paste elsewhere
- Regenerate
- send the same request again, for example if you know that additional content has been made available for searching
- Create Social Post
- create a social post from a response. For more information, see Creating Social Posts with AI.
- Create Email
- create an email from the response. For more information, see Creating Marketing Emails with AI.
- Like or Dislike
- give positive/negative feedback about the response, to help the AI Expert learn how to support you better. For more information, see Give Feedback on AI-Generated Responses.
- Copy
You can chat to Ask IQ in any language (English is the default), either having a whole conversation in your own language, or asking it to translate any responses it gives.

Auto-Generate Marketing Content from Ask IQ’s Responses
Ask IQ can generate social posts or marketing emails on your behalf, based on the content of its responses to your prompts. You have the opportunity to send them as is, or edit, personalise, and schedule them as usual.
Use one of these actions against a response you like:
- Create Social Post
- create a social post from a response. For more information, see Creating Social Posts with AI.
- Create Email
- create an email from the response. For more information, see Creating Marketing Emails with AI.
The options are available if your supplier has enabled Create Your Own (CYO) content on your portal.
Give Feedback on AI-Generated Responses
You can use the icons to give feedback about responses from Ask IQ.
- When you've received a response from Ask IQ, click the thumbs up or thumbs down icon, as appropriate.
- If you leave positive feedback, tell Ask IQ why you’re happy.
- If you leave negative feedback, provide a reason by choosing a category and adding more information in a free text field (up to 500 characters).
- Click Submit Feedback (or choose Cancel if you don’t want to give further details).
- To remove the rating, click the icon again.
Delete a Conversation with Ask IQ
The AI Expert can maintain up to 10 concurrent conversations. Starting a new one when at the limit of 10 will remove the conversation that has the oldest most recent activity from the list.
