Creating Marketing Emails with AI

Ask IQ is enabled by your supplier. Reach out to them if you have questions about availability.

If your supplier has enabled AI support in your portal, you can use Ask IQ to create marketing emails on your behalf.

Note

Your supplier must also have enabled Create Your Own (CYO) Content in your portal, for you to use the AI option. Reach our to your supplier contact if you want to use it.

Ask IQ can generate a email for you in these areas of your partner portal:

• Your Browse Collateral page
• The Ask IQ chat window

Your Browse Collateral page

You can click on the AI sparkle icon and use the Create email action when viewing collateral in the page.

Click on the icon for a single asset, or after highlighting multiple assets in the page.

 

The action launches a new conversation with Ask IQ, prompting it to create a marketing email. The prompt tells Ask IQ to create email content that promotes the selected asset(s), with a subject line and body content. Ask IQ confirms when it’s created the email, and advises you what key content or message is highlighted in it. You can review the content to check it reflects your required tone/message - if not, give Ask IQ additional prompts in the Ask IQ anything field.

You can click the icons to give feedback about the notes. For more information, see Giving Feedback on AI-Generated Responses and Content.

Once you’re happy with the post content, choose one of these options:

• Create Simple Email - generate a text-only email
• Create Email using Template - generate a styled email from a template

The Ask IQ chat window

You can click the Create Email icon for a response you want to share, when chatting with Ask IQ in your portal.

 

The action adds a new prompt to the conversation, asking Ask IQ to create a promotional email using the content of the original response. Ask IQ confirms when it’s created the email, and advises you what key content or message is highlighted in the post.  You can review the content to check it reflects your required tone/message - if not, give additional prompts in the Ask IQ anything field.

Once you’re happy with the email content, choose one of these options:

• Create Simple Email - generate a text-only email
• Create Email using Template - generate a styled email from a template

 

If you clicked Create Simple Email:

A new campaign with an text-based email tactic is created - it gives both the same name and timestamps the email. This is useful in case you want to create regular emails from the same prompt/source.

If you clicked Create Email using Template:

You’re presented with a list of templates - choose one to style the email with that template.

Alternatively, click Create for me to have Ask IQ generate a custom template and image for you.

Note

Your supplier needs to permit AI to generate templates - the Create for me action will generate an error if they haven't done so. Reach out to your supplier point of contact to clarify your options.

Both options launch the edit page for the email, where you can:

• Update the settings, such as sender name/address, reply-to address, subject etc.
• Personalize the email by editing its content
• Add links to collateral
• Specify the contacts who will receive the email
• Scheduled sending of the email
