Editing an Email Template

You can only edit templates that you have created. These steps don't apply to the default templates provided to you.

  1. Navigate to portal_settings_icon.png > Settings.
  2. Select Manage Templates in the left sidebar.
  3. Select Edit from the Actions dropdown menu for any existing template that you have created.
  4. The template editor screen is divided into two areas: a workspace that shows the current layout of the template (center) and a controls area (right).

  5. Begin by deleting any unwanted elements. To do this, click on the item to select it and then click on the trash can icon to remove it from the page. 
  6. [Optional] Open the Settings tab to configure the main settings including the width, background color, font, and link color.
  7. [Optional] Open the Rows tab to add a new section. Rows are containers for other content and allow you to create distinct areas with one to four columns. If you delete a row, all of the content it contains will also be deleted.
  8. [Optional] Open the Content tab and click-and-drag content elements into the desired position in the layout panel. Once positioned, click the item to open the properties for the item in the control panel.
  9. Once you have made all of the required changes, click Save to exit.
