Activate Campaigns

Overview

Your partner portal features two lists of campaigns. The first list, Browse Campaigns, is a list of campaigns that your supplier has made available to you. The second list, My Campaigns, is a list of supplier-provided campaigns that you have activated or CYO (Create Your Own) campaigns that you have created yourself.

In both lists, you must carry out activation tasks. You activate a campaign in the Browse Campaigns list to move it into your account and begin the process of launching it. In the My Campaigns list, you activate each marketing activity in the campaign so they can start reaching your contacts and generating leads. Activating at least one of the activities in a campaign launches the campaign.

In this article, we explain how to activate campaigns in both of the campaign lists.

Before You Begin

Activate Campaigns from Browse Campaigns

From the Browse Campaigns view, you can find campaigns that your supplier has made available to you. Activate campaigns here to move them to your My Campaigns list for further personalization.

  1. Navigate to Campaigns > Browse Campaigns.
  2. Review campaigns available to you from your supplier. Learn more about the Browse Campaigns view at About Browse Campaigns.
  3. Click the name of the campaign you want to activate. The screen will refresh to the campaign details view for this campaign.
  4. Choose which of the activities provided with the campaign you want to use. By default, all activities are selected. Click on an individual activity to select/deselect it (selected activities display a black border), or use Select all or Select none.
  5. If your supplier has provided collateral or reference material for the campaign, it's displayed in the Programs section. Use View Contents to access the content and download what you need.
  6. Click Continue
  7. In the Activate Campaign view, you can do the following:
    • Click X to remove an activity from the campaign.

    • If an activity in the campaign has a provider order, select an provider to complete the activity, select which funds to use, and add special instructions.
  8. Click Continue when you are ready to activate the campaign. The campaign adds to your list of campaigns under My Campaigns. The screen refreshes to the My Campaigns details view for this campaign.

If your campaign has any required personalization or scheduling actions, complete them in the My Campaigns view. For information, see Activate Campaign Activities from My Campaigns. You can also navigate elsewhere and save your activity personalization for later.

Note

If your supplier has linked a website plugin/microsite to an email in the campaign you are activating, you will be required to activate and personalize the website plugin/microsite included in the campaign.

Activate Campaign Activities from My Campaigns

After you activate supplier-provided campaigns in the Browse Campaigns view, you must activate each activity in the campaign to officially launch it. In the My Campaigns view, you can find a full list of your active, inactive, and archived campaigns.

To activate campaigns from the My Campaigns view, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Campaigns > My Campaigns.

    Check the campaign status to tell if the campaign is active. For more information, see About Campaign Statuses.

  2. Click the name of the campaign you want to activate.
  3. Click Review next to any activities that require action. The screen will refresh to the details view for this activity. Complete personalization for the selected activity. Learn more about personalizing activities at Manage Campaigns.

  4. Check the campaign status. Use the breadcrumbs to navigate back to the My Campaigns view. Once any activity in the campaign is active, the campaign status updates to Active.
  5. As activities are executed when the campaign is running, the partner is kept informed of campaign activity via a set of system based notifications.

    Set the recipients for notifications in the Settings >Notifications field, when personalizing the activity.
