CRM Status Mapping Summary

Overview

The terminology used in your Customer Relationship Management software (CRM) is different than the terminology in your portal. Consider mapping the translation between the two. Mapping the data allows us to interpret the data the same in both systems.

Salesforce

Lead Distribution Status—The lead goes into Salesforce after it is accepted. The Lead Distribution Status stays on the lead in the portal and does not map to Salesforce. The Lead Distribution Status is updated through the integration based on the mappings below.

Opportunity Status—The portal stores the probability of closing percentage that is provided by Salesforce, but not the associated labels since they vary widely. If Salesforce sends a value that is not configured for the client in Admin then the value is rounded up to the next highest % unless it is 100%. We do not assume a lead that is closed is won.

Microsoft Dynamics
