Advanced General Options for CRM Integration

Administrative Permission Required

Administrative permission is required to access the ZiftONE Settings. For more information, contact your supplier's point of contact.

Overview

ZiftONE CRM Settings has four sections: General, CRM Connection, Usage Profile, and Advanced General Options.

  • General Settings - contains limited information that includes the CRM type, supplier name, and how to record leads.
  • CRM Connection Settings - the login credentials for the CRM, such as CRM username, password, and security configuration. This information is gathered from the CRM.
  • Usage Profile - determines how ZiftONE will handle your Marketing Automation leads and Lead Distribution leads.
  • Advanced General Options - apply to all leads in the ZiftONE account, regardless of their origin.

In this article, we cover Advanced General Options. For step-by-step instructions for your specific CRM, see that CRM's Implementation Guide:

Select Lead Event Types to Sync in CRM

You can choose the lead event types for which you want to sync updates to your CRM.

  1. Navigate to portal_settings_icon.png > Settings.
  2. Select CRM Settings in the left-hand sidebar.
  3. Choose Add a new CRM integration if required. Select the CRM from the drop-down list to start setting up the integration.
  4. Or, if the integration is already in the list, click Edit Settings next to its entry.
  5. In the Advanced General Options area, click the arrow to expand the view.
  6. In Lead Event Types, select the lead event types to update in your CRM - email open, email click, email unsubscribe, web plugin view, web plugin click, form submission, telequalification event, SMS delivered, SMS click, link conversion, and supplier event. The data from the partner portal will appear in the Notes and Activities fields for the lead record in your CRM.

Map Sales Lead Status in your CRM to ZiftONE

(Salesforce and SugarCRM only) Mapping your Sales Lead Status provides a way for you to have one set of Sales Lead Status values in both your CRM and ZiftONE. When the Sales Lead Status are mapped properly, you will be able to sync the values from your CRM with ZiftONE.

  6. Enable the Lead Status Mapping option.
  7. Map the Lead Sales Status values in your CRM to the equivalent Lead Sales Status values in ZiftONE.
    • ZiftONE automatically populates the CRM values with the default mappings.
    • CRM Lead Status Value displays the value from the CRM. You can change it by typing in the field. We recommend that you copy and paste the value from your CRM to this field when making a change. To find the values for your specific CRM, see one of our CRM Integration Guides.
    • Zift Lead Status Value displays the equivalent field in ZiftONE. You can change it by selecting a different one from the drop down list.
    • Click Add icon_add_mapping.png to create a new mapping or Delete icon_delete_mapping.png to remove a mapping.
    • A Zift Lead Sales Status Value can be mapped to more than one CRM Lead Status Value.
  8. In Value for Display, select which Lead Status Values to display in the partner portal - those from the CRM or the ZiftONE values. These statuses display in the Lead Details, in the Registered Leads list, the CSV export for Registered Leads, and the Lead Distribution email.

Manage Updates to Campaigns from ZiftONE to your CRM

When campaigns are updated in ZiftONE by your supplier or from other sources, the changes can be passed to your CRM.

  6. Under Campaigns, you will find the following options:
    • Create Campaigns in CRM - Enable this option to sync campaign details between ZiftONE and your CRM. If campaigns are subsequently updated in ZiftONE, they update in your CRM, based on the Campaign Send Data Level setting.
    • Campaign Send Data Level - Specify what kind of data will be updated in the CRM, when the  Create Campaigns in CRM option is enabled. You can choose to allow supplier-specific field updates only, allow both profile and supplier-specific field updates, or not to allow updates at all.
      • Profile fields - standard fields, i.e. Name, Email, Address, Phone
      • Supplier-specific fields - custom information requested by your supplier
