The Opt-in Authorization page provides additional information about contacts and their opt-in status for mailings from your partner account. The contacts listed on this page have been added outside of contact lists - for example, they've been loaded individually to the Contacts page. A contact list has its own tabs of information about its contacts and their opt-in authorization status.
To navigate to the list, select the Opt-in Authorization page and choose List Details.

Opt-in authorization requirements are set by your administrator in the Company Profile for your partner account. For more information, see Update your Company Details.
You can do these tasks in the Opt-In Authorization page:
- Add contacts, either individual contacts or multiple contacts via file import.
- Get a total number of contacts that are opted in to mailings (Active), have opted out of mailings (Unsubscribed), or have yet to confirm their opt-in status (Pending).
- View lists of active, pending, and unsubscribed contacts. For more information, see Opt-In Status for Email Addresses.
- Export a list of contacts that have subscribed to mailings, for download.
- Sort contacts by overall lead score, create date, and name.
- View or manage information for individual contacts:
- View contact name, email, company name, company phone number, and date the contact was created.
- See lead activity, register a lead, add a lead to a contact list, or deactivate the lead.
- Select the company name to see details of contacts associated with the company.

Personalize the opt-in email to be sent to contacts created outside of contact lists, if Opt-In Authorization is enabled for your system. For more information, see About Confirmation Emails for Contacts and Contact Lists
Templates for two types of email are provided:
- Opt-in Email 1 - sent to new contacts added to the portal
- Existing Contact Email - sent to contacts added via dynamic lists configured in the Membership Rules area
